Worship Services

Worship Styles at Saint Michael Lutheran Church

We offer three different service times in three different styles.

  • Our 5:30 p.m. Saturday evening worship service can be considered our “informal” worship service. The music is centered around a blend of hymns and contemporary songs each week. Communion is served the Saturdays before the second and fourth Sundays of the month.
  • Our 8:00 a.m. Sunday worship is our “traditional” service. Typically, we follow one of the Divine Services in the hymnal and the music consists mostly of hymns played on the organ with the occasional new song. Communion is served on the second and fourth Sundays of the month.
  • Our 10:45 a.m. Sunday worship is our “contemporary” service. We use a mix of contemporary songs and hymns played in a contemporary style. Communion is served on the first and third Sundays of the month.

Between our 8:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. services is an education hour with various campus bible studies starting at 9:30 a.m. Below is a list of the bible studies and their various classrooms.
